Fayetteville Arkansas Bikes , Blues and BBQ
2006 Rally
This was a great weekend rally , we rolled in on Thursday night , and what a cold night it was .
The next 3 days were just great ,80 to the upper 90's , what great weather for the end of September .
The ridding was as great as the weather , the Ozark mountains are fantastic .
We rode to Eureka Springs one day , great little town and very bike friendly ,with its cobble stone streets
and turn of century buildings .
Then we rode the Pig Trail , another great 2 lane road full of switch backs over grown tress covered the road
and plenty of pull offs ,such as Artists Point .
Then there was main street ,at least 6 to 8 blocks of bikes parked side by side ,and a constant flow up and down
all day and night . The police tried to keep the noise down but you know how that worked .
Also at the Main Street location were the vendors and the stage for the bands , and of coarse the beer garden .
The last day we were there the local news estimated a least 200,000 in attendance .
Below are just a few pictures we took that weekend , if anyone else has any pictures they would like to share
send them to me at Keith@Hawghardware.com
Enjoy
