A Little About Us
Almost 30 years ago, I rode my first Harley and I was hooked! I enjoyed the openness that came with riding , but next came along my wife of now more than 25 years. She was a lovely addition to my life, and we had two beautiful children that kept us both busy with family and school activities. There was not a lot of time for riding, but I did manage to build 5 Harleys over the years.
Now that our children are grown, I am able to renew my passion for riding my Harley. Because I have been a UAW UNION MEMBER for over 30 years, I understood the importance of belonging to an organization that is respectable, so over 3 years ago, I became an official H.O.G Member. My wife now has grown to appreciate my love for riding and we spend many beautiful days together on the bike.
When my wife rides with me, she prefers to have the Tour Pac Backrest in place to make her ride more comfortable. When I am riding solo, I would rather not have it on the bike. But I did not have a good way to store the Tour Pac when it was not in use. So that is where the concept of Hawg Hardware was born. I decided to make the hog holder to prevent damage to my equipment and liked it so well, I thought I needed to share the idea. This old biker took the long way around to getting where he is today, but every time I am on my bike, it makes it all worthwhile.
